Hello, I will be giving a lecture about my work at CCA (San Francisco campus) on March 31st at 7PM.

Owen Smith exibition at the Nelson Gallery, UC Davis

There will be museum show of my work at the Richard L. Nelson Gallery on the UC Davis Campus. It will run from March 18 through May 23, 2010. I'll be there for the opening reception March 18, 2010, 5:30- 7:30 PM. I will also be giving a lecture about my work at UC Davis in April. Details to come.

"Long Gone" Opening 1/16/10, 7-10PM

I'll be in L.A. for the opening of my show, "Long Gone" on January 16, 2010. It's at BSFA gallery from 7-10. 5790 Washington Blvd., Culver City.

Owen Smith Holiday Speakeasy at Hint Mint House

I'll be in Venice CA on December 18, 2009 for an artist signing. Last year I did a series of holiday tins for Hint Mint. I'll be at their store at 1650 Abbott Kinney Blvd. from 7-10PM. They will have the limited edition tins and some 12" x12" "Tinplate Prints".

Owen has an illustration in this week's The NewYorker about Frank Gilbreth (an "efficiency" pioneer) and his wife Lillian.

Monte Beauchamp, creator and editor of Blab!, asked Owen to participate in the annual show at Copro Gallery in Santa Monica. The theme of the book and show was the end of the world, the apocalypse, the end-of-times, the rapture.
